INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS (IEEs)

An independent perspective on your child’s school-based occupational therapy needs.

An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an evaluation completed by a qualified professional who is independent of the school district. Families may request an IEE when they disagree with an occupational therapy evaluation completed by their child’s school district.

Artful OT World provides comprehensive school-based OT IEEs that examine a student’s strengths, needs, and participation within the educational environment. Findings and recommendations are designed to help families and educational teams better understand the student’s occupational therapy needs and support informed educational planning.
